In Grand Theft Auto 5, gamers are given the freedom to actually come up with their very own character, and in this free rolling title, you are able to do just whatever you would like in and around the fictional San Andreas. However, what used to be in the domain of the supernatural is now accessible to just about anyone – and by that, I mean being able to walk on water. This ability to actually move about on a body of water without having to claim to be a deity of sorts is the result of a glitch that was discovered by YouTube user Big Spaz. If you would like to take advantage of the ‘Jesus bug’, head on right after the jump for the detailed how to, or you can always take the short cut and watch the video above..

Basically, Grand Theft Auto 5 players will first need to drop by the docks at the Puerto del Sol Marina in the Vespucci neighborhood of Los Santos. Once you have gotten yourself wet for wading into the sea, all that you need to do is to take cover behind the wall after drawing a firearm, before making your way back up to the ramp on the land. By then, you ought to see your legs look all jelly-like, and the higher up the ramp you are, the higher you will bob in the water when you decide to skim across the surface.

Unfortunately, it is somewhat like Hotel California – you can check out, but you can never leave, at least not until you kill yourself or let someone else hit you out of the water. It remains to be seen whether this particular glitch will work even in the single player story mode, and in GTA Online.
