The Halo franchise has been around for a while and is considered by many to be one of the more popular titles in the recent years. Some might even call it a classic. Now we know that gamers are probably excited and are looking forward to Halo 5: Guardians, which has been pegged for a release in 2015, but for those who are new to Halo or who would like to relive some nostalgia, Halo: The Master Chief Collection might be what the doctor ordered.

Now the good news is that if you were wondering what to expect, the trailer for Halo: The Master Chief Collection made its debut over the weekend at Rooster Teeth’s RTX expo which was held in Austin, so if you have a couple of minutes to spare, you can check it out in the video above. Fans will also be pleased to learn that voice actor Keith David will be reprising his role as the voice of The Arbiter in the game.

Now for those who are hearing about Halo: The Master Chief Collection for the first time, it is essentially a collection of Halo games, ranging from Halo: Combat Evolved all the way up to Halo 4. The games will be remastered for the Xbox One in mind, so if you were worried about graphics, you might not have to.

The games will be remastered to allow for Full HD 1080p resolution and 60fps gameplay. Halo 2 will be given additional visual improvements, similar to what was done for Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary. Unfortunately 343 Industries stated that there are currently no plans to do the same for Halo 3, but hopefully the remaster should be good enough. Halo: The Master Chief Collection is currently available for pre-order and is expected to see a release on the 11th of November later this year.
