huawei-hp-slateHP has had rolled out its fair share of tablets in the past, and while they have not exactly burned up the sales charts in the same vein as that of the iPad from Apple, it does not mean the lack of phenomenal success is going to let HP throw in the towel. It looks like there will be more tablets coming our way from HP, although they do seem to be rebranded Huawei tablets – without any confirmation from HP concerning this, of course.

The HP Slate 7 VoiceTab Ultra does share a very strong resemblance to the Huawei MediaPad X1, where it will feature not only similar dimensions, but also the very same set of features to boot, where among them include a 7” display that has 1,200 x 1,920 pixels resolution, LTE connectivity, a 13MP camera at the back, 2GB RAM, and a quad-core 1.6GHz processor from Huawei. You will be able to make voice calls with this, all of it running atop Android Jelly Bean as the operating system of choice.

As for the rumored Slate 8 Plus, it will in all probability be a rebranded Huawei MediaPad M1, where it too, shares similar dimensions and features as the Huawei MediaPad M1, ranging from the 8” display at 800 x 1,280 pixels resolution, 1GB RAM, a quad-core 1.6GHz HiSilicon processor, and Android Jelly Bean.
