htc-one-review-m8-labshot-25The HTC One (M8) is a high end smartphone not to be trifled with, and hence, it is with great gladness that we bring you word of this particular smartphone arriving in a Dual SIM variant, thanks to a German-issued press release. Apparently, those who are interested in picking up the HTC One (M8) Dual SIM will be able to do so if you happen to reside in Germany, Austria and Switzerland from next week onward, where it will come with a recommended retail price of €799 (ouch!). That would be for an unlocked model, and it certainly is quite a premium considering the average price for an unlocked HTC One (M8) in Europe can be picked up in the region of €570. The difference in the pricing might be better “invested” in a separate handset, what do you think?

Still, this is certainly in line with its predecessor, the HTC One (M7), where that model too, received a Dual SIM version not too long after, alongside the relevant firmware updates in order to have it keep up with the rest of the crowd. There will be no additional hardware changes made to the Dual SIM model of the HTC One M8 apart from the fact that it can now support a couple of SIM cards.
