lg-g-pad-global-1The LG G Pad 10.1 was announced a couple of months ago, and here we are with word that this particular tablet has just seen a global launch. Being the largest tablet in the G Pad series, the LG G Pad 10.1 happens to be the ideal tool for on-the-go media consumption, since it comes with a generous widescreen display alongside a mammoth 8,000mAh battery that ought to provide users with plenty of playback time on your travels.

Expect the LG G Pad 10.1 to arrive with the G series’ premium user experience (UX) to boot, where it will include a bunch of features that can also be found on the LG G3, where among them include Touch & Shoot, Gesture Shot, Smart Keyboard and Dual Window, where Touch & Shoot will let you tap anywhere on the display in order to focus and activate the shutter, saving time for that once-in-a-lifetime shot.

As for Gesture Shot, it is ideal for selfies since all that you need to do is to clench your free hand into a fist within the shot frame, and it will kick off an automatic three-second countdown prior to shooting said selfie.

Smart Keyboard purportedly reduces input errors by up to 75% as it tracks and analyzes typing habits as well as intuitively “knowing” just what word the user intended to type.

The LG G Pad 10.1 will debut in the U.S. first before it arrives in the likes of Europe, Asia and Latin America later this July, although pricing and retail availability in the respective markets will be announced as and when there is local availability. [Press Release]
