lg-g-vista-leak

Over the past couple of weeks we have been constantly hearing about the LG G Vista, believed to be the US variant of the LG G Pro 2 Lite. While we have seen leaked renders and specifications of this Verizon exclusive we have yet to find out when it is actually going to be available. We now hear from the source who previously leaked renders and specifications that Verizon is going to formally start offering the LG G Vista this Friday, July 18th.

The purported release date comes from none other than @evleaks who was behind most of the LG G Vista leaks. Earlier today in a tweet he said that this smartphone “should go on sale” via Verizon starting this Friday. Big Red is yet to make an announcement of its own but we should see one soon enough if this date is accurate.

Carrying model number VS880 the G Vista is believed to tout a 1.2GHz quadcore Cortex-A7 processor with 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage. Even though it may borrow design cues from the LG G3, Vista’s 5.7-inch 720p display will be a far cry from the G3’s 5.5-inch Quad HD panel.

The specifications make it obvious that this is a mid-range device that will be competitively priced. We don’t know yet how much it will cost at Verizon but that information might come in soon when the official announcement is made once and for all.
