neojiIf you’re constantly worrying about the state of your home when you’re overseas, we suppose you could always get a friend or family member to come in and check on it, water the plants, and collect the mail from time to time. Alternatively you could go the hi-tech route by installing sensors in your home that ensures that you know what’s going on all the time.

One of those home sensors is called Neoji and it has recently launched as an Indiegogo campaign where it is hoping to raise funding to make the device a reality. So what is Neoji? Well Neoji is essentially a device that you can place in your home, and thanks to its array of sensors, will be able to monitor what’s going on in terms of sound, movement, and will also be able to track things like air quality and temperature too!

According to its creators, Neoji has the ability to learn over time, which means that it will be able to adapt to the sound and rhythm coming from your home on a normal day. So when something abnormal happens, like someone trying to break in at a time you’re usually out, it will alert you to that so that you can check up on what’s going on, and if you were to get the premium version, you will be able to see what’s going on as it comes with a fixed 180 degree camera.

The Neoji will also be able to hook into other home devices, like smart thermostats, smart meters, wireless lightbulbs, and more, so users will be able to track all sorts of things including their energy consumption. If you’d like to learn more or pledge a donation to the project, head on over to its Indiegogo page for the details.
