iwatch-concept-ios-8

Time and again we have heard that Apple has a smartwatch up its sleeve. So far the company hasn’t dropped any hints about its wearable plans though there’s consensus in the rumor mill that Apple’s first smartwatch is going to be released later this year. We have already seen many iWatch concepts which are mostly based off rumors. A new concept has been released online which depicts the iWatch with a 2.5-inch display, as was recently rumored.

Developed by the folks at SET Solution this concept depicts an iWatch with a 2.5-inch curved OLED display. There’s a power button on the right and two volume controls on the left. The device is shown running full iOS 8.

Even if the industrial design of Apple iWatch is similar to this concept it is highly unlikely that the wearable device would be powered by full iOS 8. It would probably be powered by a tweaked version of the software.

The iWatch is believed to be fitness focused so it may have a handful of sensors onboard that allow it to gather fitness related data. There have been rumors that the iWatch may support wireless charging, but information about its specifications is quite scarce at this point in time.

A recent survey found that people would still be willing to purchase the iWatch if it costed as much as $350. If it really looked like this, do you think you might throw down that much money as well?
