sony_fe_zpse35ccd00When it comes to full-frame mirrorless cameras, Sony has the Sony A7, A7r, and the more recent A7s. However could Sony be getting ready for an even more high-end full-frame mirrorless camera? Well according to a listing in the Indonesian agency, Postel, it seems that there is a slight possibility.

The listing reveals a certain Sony WW024382 device, which as noted by the folks at Sony Alpha Rumors, uses a similar code that turned out to be the Sony A7s, so it has been speculated that perhaps the listing could be hinting Sony has another full-frame mirrorless camera on its way. However unlike the other listings (see screenshot above), the WW024382 is not a model number.

For example we can see the Sony ILCE-5100 which will most likely end up as the A5100, which begs the question as to what the WW024382 listing could be pointing at? Sony Alpha Rumors is hoping that it could be an even more high-end mirrorless in the form of the Sony A9, but we guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

As it stands, the Sony A7x-series of full-frame mirrorless cameras are the top of their range and are actually pretty expensive, so we have to wonder if the mirrorless A9 truly does exist, what kind of features will it pack that could blow the A7x-series out of the water, and how much would it cost? What do you guys think?
