kidsmodeIt goes without saying that both hardware and software will need to get some kind of updates from time to time in order for it to keep up with the rest of the competition, and South Korean conglomerate Samsung has done a pretty good job so far with its collection of smartphones and tablets. This time around, Samsung has updated the Kids Store feature that is currently available in Kids Mode on the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S.

For those who are not in the know, Kids Store can be accessed via Kids Mode which will enrich the children’s experience all the while offering a safe learning and play environment for parents, providing added peace of mind without forking out unnecessary money. The Kids Store would let users shop for free or paid apps that will feature children-friendly content.

After all, the average age where children begin to use ‘smart devices’ for the first time is lowering by the day, hence Samsung intends to make sure that they are well prepared to meet such a phenomenon head on by showing their commitment to parents and their children with the latest Kids Store. Right now, the Kids Store offers 900 specially selected applications for children, and with a Parental Control feature, you can be sure there will be no unwanted shocks at the end of the month with simply purchased apps.
