Having said that, the Tesla Model S that went on sale in China not too long ago, proved to have gone on without a hitch, although potential buyers might want to take note that the electric vehicle is missing out on a navigation system.

Apparently, the China-bound version of the Tesla Model S will not come with a working navigation system, and who is to blame for the missing feature? Fingers in China are pointing in the direction of Google, since the Tesla Model S navigation system relies on Google Maps to help one get around which unfortunately, is not supported in China at this point in time. This is where you ought to try to remember your map folding skills once again since you’re going to need it.

There is light at the end of the tunnel however, as Tesla is currently working on a China-specific system which, if all goes well, will be able to launch later in the year. This particular version will boast of Chinese-language text and voice recognition, and it will arrive on the respective Model S rides through a software update in due time.

The Model S has come under the news recently, being hacked so that its doors can open.
