Games have gotten so realistic these days, it is no surprise then to see a whole lot of work go behind the scenes, so much so that one might even think that shooting a movie is a whole lot easier. Having said that, a couple of Ubisoft developers made their way to Nepal as part of their adventure in researching any kind of inspiration for Kyrat. Kyrat happens to be the fictitious Himalayan setting in the upcoming Far Cry 4, and during their trip, part of it included being privy to the ritual sacrifice of a goat.

Definitely stomach churning stuff for sure, as one part of the documentary which was filmed by Vice Media will definitely make some folks uncomfortable at 4:05, despite not being recorded directly on camera. The two Ubisoft executives were Mark Thompson, the game’s narrative director, as well as Phil Fournier, the associate producer, and in the ritual sacrifice that involved a goat, there was nothing obviously satanic about it, since it was a sacrifice of thanks that a man performed on behalf of his family to Kali. Do you think that game creators ought to go into such detail to ensure extreme realism?

So far, we have seen some details on Far Cry 4 alongside its gameplay video revealed – are you stoked yet?
