When it comes to cleaning our clothes and taking care of them, we usually toss them in the washing machine, take them to the dry cleaners, and iron them in order to keep them wrinkle free. It’s definitely not a big deal and it probably doesn’t take you that long to do so. However it seems that Procter & Gamble and Whirlpool have decided that your life could be made easier, thus the introduction to the Swash.

The Swash is basically a home appliance that will be able to freshen up your clothes one piece at a time. This means that if you have a huge laundry load to do, then perhaps this might not be the machine for you. However if you’re looking to get ready for a fancy dinner or a formal event and need to make sure your suit or dress is fresh, then Swash could be the answer.

Basically the machine will be able to help eliminate wrinkles and remove smells from your clothes. This is done through a special combination of heat and a special solution, and all of this is done in just 10 minutes. Sounds good and fast, doesn’t it? Unfortunately the Swash is pretty expensive at $499, and a pack of 12 pods of Swash solutions is priced at $7.

Safe to say that it could get pretty expensive especially when all your clothes need sometimes is just a quick iron. In any case if you’re interested in getting your hands on one, you might be interested to learn that the device will be sold at Bloomingdales this September, and in the meantime you can check out how the system works in the video above.
