xbox-one-hands-on-review-02They say that good things come to those who wait – do you believe this particular saying? If you have answered in the affirmative, then you would be pleased as punch to hear that Microsoft’s next generation Xbox One is now available for pre-order over in China. It was just yesterday that the alleged Xbox One promotional materials for China leaked out, and I suppose there is no longer any more need for leaks since the Xbox One pre-order has already gone official in the world’s most populous country.

The Xbox One will go on sale from September onward thanks to a partnership with China Telecom. Reuters did mention, however, that a major online retailer known as JD.com will be receiving pre-orders from today onward, and this pre-order will cease in a couple of days. In fact, the Xbox One holds the distinction of being the very first console to roll out in China ever since the country banned gaming consoles and other similar devices all the way back in 2000.

It is said that the Xbox One that will hit the China market will include software tweaks alongside relevant changes made within to help it remain in line with various Chinese laws and expectations. This seems as though selected games will be restricted depending on the level of violence and other inappropriate content within.
