iphone6-protectorOnline retailer XtremeGuard has something that will definitely cause iPhone 6 watchers to sit up and take notice – after revealing that they are putting up the iPhone 6 screen protectors for sale. In fact, the listings do point in the direction of the rumored 4.7” iPhone 6 as well as the larger sized 5.5” iPhone 6 model, where they will retail for $6.99 each, regardless of the base size of the iPhone 6.

What is more interesting would be the listing for the iPhone 6c and its respective screen protectors – which means that there will be four new iPhones in the pipeline this time around. After all, the iPhone 6c, too, looks set to take the route of the iPhone 6 as mentioned above, arriving in two screen sizes – 4.7” and 5.5”. The iPhone 6c models’ screen protectors will also cost the same, which would be $6.99 a pop.

Do bear in mind that the “iPhone 6” shown by XtremeGuard happens to be a render, so it is not the real deal just yet, despite pre-orders being taken in China already. One conclusion can be drawn from this – that we will have to wait for an official announcement before making any conclusions of our own. Do you think that $6.99 is worth every penny when it comes to a screen protector?
