iphone6-camera-leak

We have something fresh off the rumor mill for all Apple fans out there waiting for the company’s new smartphones. Chatter coming in from China suggests that the company’s 5.5-inch iPhone model is going to be called iPhone 6L when it is formally launched next month. Apparently the iPhone 6 moniker will be retained for Apple’s 4.7-inch iPhone. Both models are expected to be unveiled side by side at an event next month.

The rumor also claims that iPhone 6L is going to have a significantly larger battery, boasting a capacity of 2,915mAh. A previous rumor that claims the A8 processor in this variant will run at a slightly higher clock speed has also been reiterated.

Already there have been countless rumors about the upcoming iPhones. Apple hasn’t confirmed anything as yet and we can’t expect it to reveal anything before the actual event. Recent reports suggest that the iPhone 6 announcement will take place on September 9th.

This would be the first time that the iPhone gets significantly larger displays. Last year was the first time Apple launched two new iPhone models simultaneously and it is expected to stick with that strategy this time around as well.

If history is any indication the new iPhones should hit stores a week after they have announced, though at one point word on the street was that the iPhone 6L would probably be released a month after it has been announced. Once again, no confirmations from Apple on this as yet, so take it with a grain of salt.
