asus-logoAsus has just rolled out their new Zenbook UX303 Ultrabook as well as revealed that a slew of new ZenFone devices are in the pipeline, and it is good news for the rest of the world that they are not quite done yet when it comes to new releases of hardware. Apparently, the Taiwanese company is also looking forward to introduce their very first smartwatch that will run on the Android Wear platform by Google.

It is widely tipped that this Asus smartwatch will be easier on your bank account compared to other similar devices that are already in the market, including those from Samsung and LG, not to mention Motorola’s delicious looking Moto 360 that is touted to have a stunning two day plus battery life. Hopefully, we will be able to get a closer look at the Asus smartwatch when IFA 2014 kicks off in Berlin next September.

This bit of information came about courtesy of Asus CEO Jerry Shen when he spoke to investors concerning the future smartwatch’s first public appearance.
