bioshock-for-iphone-ipad

Ever since BioShock emerged on the scene back in 2007 it has received great reviews from gamers. It is believed to be one of the finest first person shooter experiences available for previous generation consoles. 2K Games, the publisher, confirmed BioShock for iPhone and iPad today. The iOS version will include all of the FPS action that gamers have come to love.

According to the developer and publisher the title’s story on iOS will be the same as the original and that players will play through the underwater city of Rapture. Its going to be a full port of the original title and will even feature Bluetooth controller support.

2K China is behind the port, the very same team that brought over XCOM: Enemy Unknown to iPhone and iPad. It was one of the most expensive mobile ports available on iOS at $19.99. While 2K Games has confirmed BioShock for iPhone and iPad the publisher has left out the pricing details so it can’t be said for sure right now how much this title is going to cost on iOS when it ultimately comes out.

A concrete release date has not been provided, 2K Games says that BioShock for iOS will be released over the summer. That could take anywhere from a couple of weeks to a few months.
