For those whose patience is not their strong suit, here is something that you might want to check out, assuming you happen to be an Unreal fan. You know, the first person shooter that proved to be quite a decent title back in the days when Quake ruled the roost. Well, it seems that an alpha version of the upcoming Unreal Tournament can be downloaded from the entity known as the Internet right now, although this is not the official one from Epic Games..

Prototype games are far from being the finished article, so you can be quite sure that the alpha build of Unreal Tournament is going to push your grit right to the very limit, or perhaps even reveal to you a side of yourself that you never knew was there in the first place. This is because there will be plenty of weapons that have yet to go through the balancing process, not to mention a fair number of bugs that might just result in a crash or sending your machine to a freeze.

According to the development community, this shooter will receive an update every single Friday in order to make sure that progress is there to be shown. Do bear in mind, however, that the alpha build in question here will not be the official one from Epic Games, but will happens to be a product of the Unreal Engine 4 development community. Just goes to show how far passion for a particular project is able to bring you, right?
