When one talks about a particular game like The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, it is a game that has certainly occupied the time of many people over the years, where they spent hours upon hours of gaming before completing the epic game. However, for non–purists who take pride in completing a game within the shortest time possible, how about finishing this Nintendo 64 classic in a matter of just 18 minutes and 10 seconds? Check out speedrunner Cosmo Wright’s explanation in the video above on how the impossible was made possible.

Needless to say, in order to complete a game in 18 minutes and 10 seconds that the average gamer would require a great number of hours to do so will definitely earn you a place in folklore – as the rare combination of skill, luck and intimate knowledge of the game’s ins and outs come together, culminating in what some might call the ‘perfect game’. Wright did explain that this will require continuing from where the expanded speedrunning community left off.

So far, Wright claims that he has performed over 1,200 speedrun attempts (that’s just an insane number – imagine attempting 40 speedruns each day, that would still require close to a month’s worth of work! If you want something slower paced, there is always a Monopoly version to indulge in…
