Console bundles are one great way for the manufacturer to sell units rapidly which is why we often see these manufacturers bundle up their console with a highly anticipated game. Microsoft’s latest bundle for the Xbox One comes with a console as well as a copy of Madden NFL 15, a much loved pro football game that many gamers have been looking forward to this year.

This bundle doesn’t feature a physical copy of Madden NFL 15 for Xbox One rather the deal offers buyers a digital download copy. It also comes with a token for three Madden NFL Ultimate Team Pro Packs.

As is the case with other bundles, the Xbox One Madden NFL 15 bundle comes in its own special packaging. Its priced at $399.99, exactly the same for which the Xbox One is selling for right now, though at this price point one doesn’t get a Kinect motion sensor. Microsoft is going to start shipping the bundles from August 26th.

Microsoft seems to have cultivated a good relationship with the NFL. Only yesterday a brand new official NFL app for Xbox One was announced and it brings a whole new world of content onboard. Surely cashing in on the hype for Madden NFL 15 would help Microsoft sell a few more Xbox units which has so far been struggling to keep up pace with the PlayStation 4.
