xbox-one-hands-on-review-02Let us not get ahead of ourselves upon hearing that the Xbox One is about to get a whole lot more affordable over in Europe compared to the other regions. After all, we do know that to err is human, and to forgive, divine. Having said that, there will, from time to time, be mistakes made when listing a particular product, and Microsoft has stepped forward to say that the €349.99 price listed for the Xbox One was done “in error”.

The €349.99 price which was first spotted on the Spanish Xbox.com site certainly raised a fair number of eyebrows, since that would be a wee bit more affordable compared to the original €399.99 sticker price. In fact, Microsoft did say that there are no plans at this point in time to lower the Xbox One’s European price to €349.99, and the Spanish site’s listing will be revised to reflect the unchanged €399.99 price point.

Now that’s a bummer, don’t you think so? After all, saving €50 can help a gamer start off with at least one game in his or her collection right from the get go to keep the console company. Ah well, perhaps in due time when Microsoft thinks it is ripe for the Xbox One to see a price drop, we might even hit the €300 mark.
