Best Buy has a history of jumping the gun on new products, it has happened multiple times in the past and it may have happened once again. This time its a product that many of us have been anxiously waiting for, Motorola’s Moto 360 smartwatch. The company is expected to announce the smartwatch in the coming month and Motorola itself has revealed many details. What many of us were curious about was the price tag and it looks like Best Buy may have jumped the gun on that.

A posting for the Moto 360 has appeared on Best Buy, and while it doesn’t list a concrete release date, it does carry a price tag. $249.99 plus free shipping, Best Buy lists the smartwatch as “Coming Soon.”

Some specifications are also included in the posting. Weighing in at 2.1 ounces the Moto 360 is 1.8″ x 1.8″ x 0.4″ in dimensions and has a stainless steel case with plastic back. The band is apparently made out of Horween leather band with a metal latch. The Moto 360 is said to have a Texas Instruments processor with 512MB RAM, a 1.5-inch diagonal LCD display with 320×290 pixel resolution and a handful of sensors that include pedometer, heart rate and ambient light.

This bit of information may or may not convince prospective Moto 360 buyers who were wondering what this smartwatch would cost when it is ultimately released. Motorola hasn’t issued a confirmation as yet but its unlikely now that there would be any major changes to any of this.
