Ubisoft seems to be quick on plugging leaks because earlier today, Assassin’s Creed Rogue was leaked and instead of remaining mum or denying it, Ubisoft has since come forward to acknowledge it. Given that Gamescom is next week, chances are Ubisoft would have made the announcement then, so we guess it was only a matter of time.

That being said, if you missed the trailer or if you felt that the trailer was a bit too low quality (it seemed to have been recorded of a video playing on a screen), you’re in luck because Ubisoft has officially revealed the trailer for the game. It’s essentially the same trailer from earlier today, except that it is much, much clearer. That and the fact that the previous leak has since been taken down.

Assassin’s Creed Rogue is an upcoming Assassin’s Creed title designed for current-gen consoles like the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. This was previously rumored and hinted at by Ubisoft, except that at the time, it was given the codename “Comet”. This is compared to Assassin’s Creed Unity which was designed for next-gen consoles like the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.

The game has been scheduled for a release on the 11th of November and unsurprisingly there is also a Collector’s Edition version of the game for those who like collecting art books, soundtracks, and exclusives. In any case if you have a few minutes to spare, be sure to check out the trailer above.
