diablo 3We’re pretty sure by now gamers are probably a little tired of having to grind for gear and gold in Diablo 3. Despite the changes Blizzard made with the Reaper of Souls expansion, there are times when it really does feel a bit tedious. Now the good news is that it looks like Blizzard will soon be injecting new content into the game.

Blizzard has recently announced via its Battle.net application that they will be applying patch 2.1 to the game on Tuesday at 3AM PDT. The game is also expected to be unavailable for playing during this time, as is expected, so if you’re looking forward to checking out new content, we guess you won’t have to wait too long for it to be put into effect.

According to Blizzard, “We will be performing scheduled maintenance beginning on Tuesday, August 26, at 3:00 a.m. PDT to apply patch 2.1.0 and we expect the service to be available again at approximately 1:00 p.m. PDT. During this time the game will be unavailable for play.” It should be noted that the patch will only be available for the PC and we’re not sure when consoles can expect to receive their patch.

As we had covered earlier, patch 2.1 for Diablo 3 will introduce some new content and game modes, such as Greater Rifts, The Vault, and the addition of Seasons which offers leaderboards that will provide players with rewards if they manage to top it. So, who else is looking forward to receiving the patch?
