RFSL Newcomers happen to be a charity which supports lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender refugees and migrants who have undergone persecution that drove them away, under the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression. The item that underwent a successful auction? It is called the GayStation , or the PS4 GayStation Edition, depending on whichever description floats your boat.
Make no mistake about it, the GayStation 4 is a standard issue PS4 from Sony underneath the hood, but it does dazzle the eyes as the exterior comes in a rather striking combination of rainbow colors. The ones behind the GayStation 4 claim that “this is for the gaymers”, and it will truly be a one-of-a-kind release, having been designed for the Stockholm Pride Festival.
The model in question would be a 500GB PS4 that will be accompanied by a quartet of games to help you get started right out of the box. In fact, this auction managed to raise 28,300 SEK (which is the rough equivalent of $4,120), making it worth slightly more than 10 times of what a vanilla PS4 unit would.
