iphone-6-logic-board

With each passing day September comes closer ever so slightly and anticipation for Apple’s next generation iPhones increases. It is believed that Apple is going to unveil the iPhone 6 on September 9th though there has been no confirmation on this from Cupertino. Almost every other day we hear a new rumor or see a new leak about the upcoming smartphones and today is no different. This time around we get to see a purported fully assembled iPhone 6 logic board.

The photo surfaced online through Weibo which is China’s equivalent of Twitter. Unfortunately majority of the components on this logic board, which also houses the processor, are covered by a metal shield so we can’t actually get a glimpse of those components.

However it is interesting to note that the shape of this iPhone 6 logic board is not different from similar parts that have previously been leaked. Even the mounting locations which hold the logic board together with the actual casing appear to be the same.

This certainly isn’t the first time that a purported iPhone 6 component has been leaked online. Over the past couple of months we have seen items like flex cables, control cables and even full fledged dummy units of the iPhone 6.

Even those these things may look promising one can never be too sure. Its always best to take this with a grain of salt for now.
