saleen-foursixteenTesla, the electric car that can be hacked as well as controlled (in certain aspects) from the wrist itself, certainly has a lot of pride and joy with their Tesla Model S P85. Why, you ask? The Model S P85 is capable of moving from 9 to 60mph in a matter of 4.2 seconds, which is extremely commendable for a fully electric ride. Tuning outfit Saleen has other ideas, and with their tinkering, it has resulted in what they call the Foursixteen.

The Foursixteen would represent an entire new class of American cars, where the P85 that has been given the Saleen touch, sports a different final drive ratio for better acceleration. Not only that, the ride is even more aerodynamic now thanks to updates, in addition to getting a new suspension, 22” wheels, carbon ceramic brakes, an interior that is certainly befitting of the “supercar” status, and a brand new spoiler at the back. It is quicker and sleeker looking, so don’t expect it to be able to maintain the original 265-mile EPA range.

Not only that, your pocket is expected to feel the burn, too, as we are looking at a massive price jump from $94,570 all the way to $152,000 a pop. At least the Foursixteen will qualify for all Federal and state EV rebates, where that might translate to savings of up to $15,000, depending on where you live.
