nokia-lumia-925-review-1If you’re on T-Mobile and you own either a Nokia Lumia 521, Lumia 810, or the Lumia 925, you might be wondering when on earth will T-Mobile get around to issuing the Windows Phone 8.1 update for these handsets? According to reports, it seems that T-Mobile has the update listed as “Under testing” or “Not available” for some of these devices.

Now the good news is that if you were still wondering if and when T-Mobile will release the update, the carrier has since posted a message on Twitter where they claim that the update should be arriving “later this year”. Given that we’re only a few more months until the end of 2014, we guess we won’t have to wait too long.

However T-Mobile’s tweet only mentioned two handsets – the Nokia Lumia 521 and the Lumia 925. We’re not sure what the status is with the Lumia 810 but gjven that T-Mobile has decided to end support for the handset, that could be the reason why. The Windows Phone 8.1 update had been originally planned for the summer, but we guess better late than never, right?

In any case you can be sure we will be keeping our eyes and ears peeled for more information regarding the status and availability of the updates for the devices mentioned above, so be sure to check back with us at a later date for more details!
