t-mobile logo 2T-Mobile looks as though they are doing pretty well in the smartphone market, especially with the number of new subscribers that they have picked up along the way, in the most recent quarter as well which saw a swell of 1.5 million more subscribers to surpass the 50 million subscribers mark. It does not look as though T-Mobile is going to stop innovating, being the Un-carrier, and here we are with a tweet from T-Mobile CEO John Legere who lifted the wraps off a possible Un-carrier 7 later this summer.

In the tweet, Legere mentioned, “Who’s ready for #uncarrier7 later this summer?! #notthecompetition #wewontstop.” It remains to be seen just what kind of goodies will Un-carrier 7 bring along with it upon release, as details have been more or less non-existent on that matter. As for Un-carrier 5 and Un-carrier 6, those have been included the iPhone 5s Test Drive program, Wideband LTE, Voice over LTE (VoLTE) and Music Freedom. Apart from that, at the Q2 2014 earnings report which happened recently, T-Mobile did mention that its VoLTE service is ready to rock and roll around the country, so that can be eliminated as a feature for the Un-carrier 7.

What do you think Un-carrier 7 is all about, and will it add more subscribers in the long run?
