Before you get all excited and start frothing at your mouth, you ought to take note right from the get go that The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, will not be on the receiving end of an official remake in the near future, nor in a distant ahead. Still, this does not mean that the gaming franchise’s huge fanbase will leave the title alone, as a couple of fans have been working hard on a remake project of said title to show the world what new technology, when applied to a classic game, is capable of delivering.

Thanks to the numerous hours and sweat put into The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask remake, Pablo Belmonte and Paco Martinez, who hail from the game industry, first teased the world with this idea a couple of years back. Do bear in mind that the remake is not a playable title, but rather, it is more of a proposal for the folks over at Nintendo to reconsider the possibility of a remake. Why not? After all, the original Resident Evil already had a remake, and now Capcom is about to come up with a remake of the remake in Full HD resolution, so something as famous as The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask too, deserves such “attention”.

The video above depicts what Link could look like, in addition to the Happy Mask Salesman and some of the game’s levels alongside the usual slew of enemies.
