nophoneDo you ever have that sense of unease when your phone is not with you? Is the thought of it always in the back of your mind when you leave it charging in another room, or in the locker at the gym, or in your drawer at work? Well we’re not sure many of you guys can’t go through the day without your phone, but apparently there are enough people for the noPhone to be built.

As you can see in the image above, the noPhone has been designed to look like a smartphone, except that it isn’t. It’s actually a piece of plastic that simulates the feeling of carrying a phone, so for those who actually suffers from anxiety at not having your phone in your hands on pockets, this could be the “device” for you.

We’re not sure if the noPhone is meant to be a joke or if it will actually be made into an actual product, but if anything it does highlight just how dependent we are on our phones, and to a certain extent a little addicted too. The makers of the noPhone highlight some of its killer features, such as how it is both water and shatterproof, and you don’t have to worry about charging it because it never runs out of battery.

In any case if you’d like to learn more about the noPhone (not that there is much to learn), you can head on over to its website for the details, but in the meantime what do you guys think? Are we truly that addicted that we need a faux phone just to feel “safe”?
