Oh yeah, not forgetting smartphones – Lenovo does those, too, with the Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro being the most recent model to have been announced. Well, back to the tablet market – the name IdeaTab S8 has been making its rounds over at the FCC as well as different sites in recent memory, and even additional details on the Lenovo IdeaTab S8-50 has arrived today, thanks to a certain Merimobiles that is already taking pre-orders for this particular tablet.

The pre-orders would cost you a low, low price point of $0. Yup, you read that right – although the Lenovo IdeaTab S8-50 does come with a recommended retail price of $300, it can be pre-ordered for $0. This does not guarantee you a free device, make no mistake about it, but rather, it points as an indicator to the retailer so that they are able to gauge the general market’s interest in such a device.

The Lenovo IdeaTab S8-50 is touted to arrive with an 8” display, an Intel Atom Z3745 Bay Trail processor, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, an 8MP shooter at the back with a 1.6MP front facing camera, GPS, 2GB RAM, and 16GB of internal memory, with Android 4.4 KitKat as the mobile operating system of choice.
