There’s good news for those who own a HTC One Max on Verizon. The carrier today released an over-the-air update for the device which enhances the user interface and user experience for One Max owners. Bumping up the software version to 3.09.605.2 the update brings a revamped user interface with a “vivid color palette,” and many other tweaks to the overall experience.

The Sense 6 user interface, which has already been released to a handful of other HTC devices, brings a new BlinkFeed experience, customizable fonts as well as an update for the overall user interface.

The core Android OS version remains the same since the Android 4.4.2 update has already been released for the Verizon HTC One Max. So don’t expect any major new features, its merely a cosmetic update. However the update does bring quite a few bug fixes, improves Wi-Fi connectivity, an issue with the ISIS Wallet as well as a power-on issue.

A couple of new apps are included as well, such as a new gallery and music app. The home screen experience has been tweaked and the update also brings a new and improved camera user interface.

The update is already rolling out for Verizon HTC One Max owners. Head on over to the Settings app and get the update on the device.
