youtube-for-tvIt goes without saying that companies ought to do their darndest best to introduce better versions as well as updates to their existing apps from time to time – it makes perfect sense, and is perfectly good business acumen as it helps you to remain ahead of the competition. Having said that, YouTube, which is owned by Google, has finally launched a new user interface for the YouTube for TV app.

This particular app looks a whole lot cleaner now, which would certainly have it aligned to Google’s Material Design, and it will be accompanied by a slew of features which are more or less what we are familiar with on the likes of a computer, smartphone or tablet. In other words, do look out for a guide which will appear on the left hand side of the display, not to mention the most recent videos to appear on your subscriptions, as well as curated channels.

Do look forward to the new and improved user interface to make its way in due time, as it is already available on the Xbox One platform, and Google has every intention to make sure that other platforms, too, will be graced by the new YouTube for TV app in the coming weeks.
