appleevent2-420x315Apple’s 9th of September event will be held at the Flint Center and according to previous photos, it looked like Apple was constructing an additional building outside the venue. It is unclear as to what the building is about, but some have speculated it could be where Apple allows hands-on with their newly announced products.

That being said, while Apple is known for being secretive, it seems that this time round the Cupertino company is being even more secretive and has taken security to the next level. According to reports, the auditorium is said to be patrolled by security personnel 24 hours a day, and anyone who is working the show, which includes construction staff, technicians, caterers, and etc., are to submit their phones to Apple’s security team.

Phones’ cameras are also said to be taped up with a special tamper proof tape that will change color if removed. According to an anonymous employee working at the show, “If it changes color, we’ll be fired on the spot. We were told that we should erase anything embarrassing from our phones because security will be going through them with a fine-tooth comb.”

As for the building itself, apparently it is such a big secret that Apple flew in a special team of contractors from the UK who have kept themselves away from anyone else working at the venue. Like we said Apple’s secrecy is well-known but this is definitely taking things to the next level indeed.
