ac chinaIf there’s one particular feature about the Assassin’s Creed franchise that makes it so entertaining, it is the fact that it usually takes place in places that are familiar to us and in periods which are also familiar to those who enjoy their history. Granted there is fiction throw into the mix, but otherwise for the most part, there is a bit of the real world thrown in there.

Now if you were hoping to see Ubisoft take Assassin’s Creed to even more countries around the world, you will be pleased to learn that Ubisoft has recently unveiled their DLC plans for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Unity. Gamers will be getting a new story campaign that takes place after the game where gamers will be able to explore the underground crypts, access more missions in Paris, and gain 30 new pieces of equipment.

There will also be a new standalone story called Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China, which as the name implies, will be taking gamers to China. However unlike Unity, the China DLC will be in 2.5D. Gamers will find themselves at the Great Wall of China and will be able to participate in missions for the Chinese Brotherhood. There will also be a female assassin Shao Jun from Assassin’s Creed: Embers.

Assassin’s Creed Unity has been pegged for a release on the 11th of November where it will arrive on next-gen consoles like the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, as well as for PC gamers.
