scotland-outcomeForget about Zoltan – you might want to rely on Bing to tell you of your future. After all, isn’t it Microsoft’s technology that helped Cortana predict most of the World Cup 2014 results correctly, not to mention it is being tested out to predict NFL results? Having said that, today is an extremely important day for William Wallace’s countrymen – Scotland, as the Scots go to vote in order to have a say whether Scotland will remain as part of the U.K. – or not.

Bing more or less thinks that it already has the answer, where things should return to status quo after today’s referendum – in other words, Bing predicts that Scotland will still remain as part of the U.K. after the vote. What about you, do you think that Scotland will emerge as the latest country after today?

If Bing gets this prediction correct, then Microsoft’s portfolio in the world of search services would gain another feather in its cap, where it would function more as a marketing tool compared to it being actually useful for the masses. Do you actually make use of search engines to make a prediction? If it were to be so accurate, bookies all over the world would be running at a loss.
