SoundLink_Color_1324_7If you’re in the market for new Bluetooth audio products, you might be interested to learn that Bose has recently unveiled the SoundLink Color Bluetooth speaker and the SoundLink On-Ear Bluetooth headphones. As their name implies, both products will be part of Bose’s SoundLink range and will sport Bluetooth connectivity, so if you’re all about wireless, perhaps these are some products worth checking out.

Starting with the SoundLink Color Bluetooth speaker. This is a portable Bluetooth speaker that measures 12.8cm wide, 5.3cm deep, and 13.5cm high which according to Bose, should fit into most bags or even into the palm of your hand. The speakers will feature dual-opposing passive radiators and two transducers that Bose claims will provide a full range of sound and deep low-note performance.

The speakers will also pair with smartphones or tablets via Bluetooth and can remember as many as eight devices. The controls are on the speakers themselves and there is also a 3.5mm stereo aux input for those who do not have Bluetooth devices. The SoundLink Color Bluetooth speakers will also come with a li-ion battery that is good for up to eight hours and will fully recharge in just three hours, and will come in black, white, blue, red, and mint finishes.

SoundLink_on-ear_1324_12Moving on, for those who’d rather a pair of headphones, the SoundLink On-Ear Bluetooth headphones could be of interest to you. As the name states, these are on-ear headphones so if you’re looking for something that isolates sound a bit better, you might want to consider over-ear or perhaps noise cancelling headphones instead.

That being said, these headphones will feature Bose’s Active Equalization and TriPort technology baked into the headset. There will be a new microphone system that Bose claims will be able to “reject” wind which means that your voice should come through more clearly during calls. The headphones will also feature Adaptive Audio Adjustment that will change the volume based on speech levels and ambient noises.

The headphones will also come with voice prompts to inform you of incoming calls, battery status, and so on. The controls are on the earcups themselves and have been built to be rugged. They will feature impact-resistant materials and glass-filled nylon, and a non-corrosive stainless steel band. The headphones should last 15 hours before requiring a recharge.

The Bose SoundLink Color Bluetooth speakers will be priced at £119.95 and will be available for pre-order today and should see a release on the 25th of September. The Bose SoundLink On-Ear Bluetooth headphones on the other hand will be priced at £219.95 and will be available for purchase starting today.
