draenor-10thA year older, a year wiser – or that is the way things are supposed to be like when it involves regular humans, but in the tech world, one year older, the closer to obsolescence a particular device moves to. Can you believe that it has been 10 years already since World of Warcraft launched to critical acclaim? Well, with Warlords of Draenor being tipped to roll out later this coming November 13, it will definitely have something to do with Blizzard’s 10-year anniversary celebration of the World of Warcraft launch.

Expect the 10- year anniversary celebration to kick off in the game world itself on Friday, November 21, where the digital festivities will last all the way until Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at 10 a.m. PST. In a nutshell, every single gamer who decides to log in during that period of time will be on the receiving end of the cuddly, feisty, and fiery new Molten Corgi as a new pet. Apart from that, Blizzard has also decided to throw in two more special events in order to commemorate the milestone.

When Warlords of Draenor is released, the slew of unrated PvP Battlegrounds, Skirmishes, and other unrated PvP activities will also be made available right away. Hence, do take note that the new rated season will kick off on a chilly Tuesday, December 2 at 8 a.m. PST. [Press Release]
