driveclub-season-pass

When the PlayStation 4 was due to launch late last year DriveClub was supposed to be one of the launch titles. However the game was delayed and now it will land on the console almost a year after it was originally intended for release. Evolution Studios has already started working on new content, improvements and updates that will be rolled out for DriveClub once it finally releases. Today the DriveClub season pass and DLC plan was detailed on the official PlayStation Blog.

DriveClub has already got 55 routes over 25 tracks, more tracks will be released for the title without any charge. One new car will be added for free every month from October 2014 to June 2015.

A full calendar of DLC that will run deep into 2015 is being whipped up. Players will be able to buy packs of new cars as well as campaign tour expansions each month. The DLC calendar starts off in November 2014 with each pack bringing more challenges and new trophies for players to earn.

A DriveClub season pass will be available for €24.99 which will eliminate the need to buy DLC packs individually, those who purchase a season pass will end up saving quite a bit of money as well.

DriveClub will be released on October 8th, 2014.
