Paper by FiftyThreeIf you’re an avid iPad user chances are you might have downloaded and checked out FiftyThree’s Paper app. For those who unfamiliar, it’s basically a drawing app, but what has made it so popular is the different tools that users have access to in the app, such as pencils, paintbrushes, pens, and so on.

Given the iPhone’s small screen, the app was not released for iPhones. However with the iPhone 6 Plus, could it be big enough to support Paper? While some of you guys might think that it is, the developers beg to differ. According to FiftyThree, it seems that if you were hoping for Paper’s release for the iPhone 6 Plus, you’d be out of luck.

Is this because of the display which is not as big as they would like? Well no, it turns out that the problem is that FiftyThree would have to make some drastic changes to their app in order to get it to work. The new iPhones have been designed to upscale existing iPhone apps, but not downscale iPad apps, so like we said drastic changes would have to be made to get it to work.

“Paper is not available for the iPhone 6 Plus and I don’t think it will be for the immediate future,” according to FiftyThree’s spokeswoman. This does not mean that Paper will be denied from iPhone 6 Plus forever, but in the meantime you’ll probably not want to hold your breath.
