gtav_details09122014_003According to our report earlier, it was revealed that several details about Rockstar’s upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto V for next-gen consoles and PC was revealed. Basically the core game would remain the same, but Rockstar would be introducing new and updated graphics to take advantage of the better hardware.

Well the good news is that Rockstar has since confirmed that the game will see visual upgrades and have also provided a date as to when the game will be released. According to Rockstar, the PS4 and Xbox One version of the game will be released on the 18th of November later this year, but the PC version will see a later release on the 27th of January in 2015.

gtav_details09122014_005Rockstar writes on its blog, “Grand Theft Auto V for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC will feature a range of major visual and technical upgrades to make Los Santos and Blaine County more immersive than ever.” They also add that gamers will be able to look forward to new weapons, vehicles, activities, wildlife, denser traffic, a new foliage system, and enhanced damage and weather effects, just to name a few.

Now the good news is that if you were to pre-order the game, Rockstar has announced that players would be getting $1,000,000 in the form of in-game cash to spend on Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online. Gamers will also be able to transfer their online characters from previous gen consoles to next-gen consoles. In the meantime you can check out some of the screenshots Rockstar has released from the PS4 version of the game.
