samsung-touch3GreatCall has released some senior-friendly devices in the past, such as the Jitterbug J phone as well as the Jitterbug Touch 2, and those will target a specific demographic – the young would definitely look elsewhere if they were to settle for a smartphone. This time around, GreatCall has revealed that they have yet another smartphone which will cater for senior citizens and older users, where the handset is known as the Samsung Touch3.

Just what does the Samsung Touch3 bring to the table? Well, one of the main selling points would be its user interface – everything has been simplified to the bare basics, especially the user interface, in order to make it a no-brainer to use. Of course, there will be select apps including the phone, messaging, camera, and help which will always be in the front and center, sporting large fonts for easier readability.

Other than that, the Samsung Touch3 will also arrive with the standard range of GreatCall services, including 5Star, Urgent Care, and MedCoach. As for the rest of its hardware specifications, expect to see the Samsung Touch3 arrive with a 4” display, a 4MP shooter at the back, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS support, and 8GB of internal memory. It will cost you $150 a pop, and will arrive unlocked.
