warlocksWhen it comes to someone who is living the high life, and yet are born without any limbs, then there is no better example than Nick Vujicic himself. I had the privilege of meeting him up close and personal a dozen years ago before he achieved such a phenomenal level of success, and back then, I didn’t even need to pony up a single cent to go up and give him a hug and tell him how inspirational he is. I am quite sure that Nick would also be proud of Polish indie game developer Max Strzelecki, as this 21-year old programmer has worked on a new game known as Warlocks that is being launched on Kickstarter. The kicker? Strzelecki used his feet to do all of the programming as he was born without any arms.

Strzelecki shared, “I was born this way. This is the only version of me that I know. And it’s the best version of me I will ever be.” Way to go! Strzelecki has managed to gain such control over the use of his feet, that he is completely self sufficient, being able to do work on a regular keyboard, and even use a standard mouse. Heck, if he needs to play with a gamepad, that should not be too much of an issue for him either, as he has already adapted to such a lifestyle.

Warlocks, the game he is working on, is a retro side-scrolling 2D game that is mainly inspired by Risk of Rain. If it garners enough funding, it will roll out on the PC, Mac, Linux and Wii U, where a quartet of gamers can work together – whether locally or online, when it comes to exploring a dangerous fantasy world and picking up the riches within.
