This time around, the LifeBeam Helmet will boast of an improved sensor which has been inspired by the different kinds of technology used in the company’s military aerospace systems, especially those that involves monitoring the vital statistics of fighter pilots and special forces units.

Needless to say, the two different user groups were was mentioned earlier do go through plenty of stressful situations while they are at work, and being able to keep track of all that is going on physiologically would be an added advantage. This new hardware on the LifeBeam Helmet is touted to offer far more accurate data, in addition to sporting a vastly improved battery life which allows it to be used a few times within the month prior to a trip to the nearest power outlet.

Apart from that, there will be Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity and ANT+ support thrown into the mix, while the entire shebang has been redesigned to fit better on one’s head. Expect to pick this bad boy up for $200 a pop if you are interested. [Product Page]
