Is there any limit to human endeavor and imagination? Apparently not, as you will find that when one puts his or her mind to it, wonders can happen. Case in point, the game Minecraft which allows people to build things as a community, so much so that an entire country (Denmark) has been mapped out in its entirety earlier this year. Well, it looks like Minecraft is also the place where the entire Johto region from Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver has been recreated, now how about that? You can check out the time-lapse video of this blocky creation above that will depict the building of each town, city and route.

This is definitely a labor of love, as work on Johto began in May this year, where the creator spent time each weekend to build the Johto region from time to time. Overall, it is estimated that the entire project took approximately 210 hours to plan, create, in addition to another 25 hours “invested” so that you can check out a video like the one that you see above.

In fact, in the previous year, the region of Kanto was recreated. The next project? To build the Hoenn region from Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald.
