nba-live-15-release

Did you have October 7th penciled in for the NBA Live 15 release? Time to take out that eraser, the title is not coming on that day. EA Sports has confirmed today that the NBA Live 15 release has been pushed back. The title should not be confused with NBA 2K15 which is from a totally different developer, that title will be released as per schedule on October 7th.

The confirmation about this delay was made by Sean O’Brien from EA Sports on the company’s website. While the team is proud of the work it has done over the year to ensure that NBA Live 15 fulfills gamers’ expectations, there are certain areas in 5-on-5 gameplay that need to be tweaked.

Given the amount of work that has gone in the development of this title so far, EA says that it will be taking a “few extra weeks to polish the game,” and to ensure that gamers get an “incredible NBA experience” from the moment they boot up the game.

What’s the new release date for this title you ask? NBA Live 15 release will now take place on October 28th, that the opening night of the 2014-15 NBA season. It will be available for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. EA believes that with this additional time they’ll be able to do enough to ensure that NBA Live 15 reaches its full potential.
