oneplus-iphone-welcomeOnePlus has run a new publicity campaign on their Facebook page this time around, and it is a whole lot less insensitive compared to their earlier “Ladies First” campaign which was pulled due to being controversial in nature. Having said that, OnePlus has extended a note of welcome to the iPhone 6 Plus, obviously carrying its own basket when you take into consideration of the OnePlus One’s name alone. As part of their celebrations in welcoming the iPhone 6 Plus to the “Plus’ family, OnePlus is giving away a 64GB OnePlus One smartphone in addition to 550 invites.

The OnePlus One might come with a 5.5” display at 1080 x 1920 pixels and 401 ppi pixel density, and yet it is a wee bit smaller in size compared to the iPhone 6 Plus, which is a testament to its engineering department as it goes up against what is deemed by the masses to be the gold standard in smartphones – at least from the Apple fan’s point of view.

For those of you who are interested in knowing how to score a new OnePlus One for free, fret not – just make sure that you have a working Facebook account before you are able to participate. Between the two, which would you choose purely based on hardware alone?
