BlackBerry first rolled out the BlackBerry P’9983 Porsche Design last week, where the handset will continue from where its other two predecessors, the Porsche Design P’9981 and P’9982 left off, delivering a premium build as well as a premium price. What makes the BlackBerry P’9983 Porsche Design tick underneath the hood would be the BlackBerry 10.3 OS build that will feature BlackBerry Assistant, which so happens to be BlackBerry’s very own personal assistant that will have counterparts such as Siri, Cortana and Google Now.

In the video above that BlackBerry released, it depicted several of the ‘behind the scenes’ action which happened prior to the global launch of the Porsche Design P’9983 that took place in Dubai. Why Dubai? That oil rich gulf state is the perfect place, taking into consideration how a single BlackBerry P’9983 Porsche Design would set you back by $2,000, and Dubai happens to have a very wealthy population thanks to the amount of oil and gas related industries there are there.

Just to recap, the BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9983 will come with a 3.1″ touchscreen display, an 8MP shooter at the back, 64GB of internal memory, and u to 14 hours of talk time on a full battery charge, although those are under special test conditions, and real world performance would most probably see a drop in that particular figure.
